Why You Should Enter the AFAM FEST Cooking Competition
This isn’t just any cooking contest—it’s an opportunity to compete on a prestigious platform, get noticed by top chefs, and showcase your talent in front of thousands of food lovers. Here’s what to expect:
✅ Three Intense Rounds – Compete in thrilling rounds where dishes will test your creativity and technique. ✅ Surprise Dishes – The meals for each round will be revealed just one week before the event, ensuring fair competition. ✅ Massive Exposure – Be part of Asaba’s biggest food festival and get featured on social media, press, and influencer platforms. ✅ Win Big – Gain recognition, network with industry experts, and unlock future opportunities in the food industry.
Competition Format
The competition will feature 10 contestants, with eliminations after each round:
👨🍳 Round 1: All 10 contestants prepare a local dish – Semovita & Egusi Soup. The lowest-scoring 3 are eliminated. 👨🍳 Round 2: The remaining 7 contestants will cook Ukodo (Yam Pepper Soup). Another 3 will be eliminated. 👨🍳 Final Round: The Top 4 contestants will battle it out by preparing Instant Noodles with a creative twist. The winner, runner-up, and third-place finisher will be crowned!
📌 All cooking ingredients & gas tops will be provided. Contestants must bring their own cooking and plating utensils.
